Nicholas George Faggas was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 6, 1937 to George and Polexini (Kokanakis) Faggas. He attended Cambridge Public and after graduation he went onto New England Institute in Kenmore Square, Boston, Mass. for his education in Funeral Service. He met the love of his life, Ann Marie (Brogna) Faggas in 1955 and in 1957 they were married and blessed with six children. Nick founded the Faggas Funeral Home in May, 1963 with his late brother Charles W. Faggas. He loved serving families. He started Faggas Embalming Service in the mid 70’s. He traveled internationally and taught arterial embalming to other countries. He made many lasting relationships along the way. He proctored the Massachusetts State Board Examination for new funeral directors for many years. His knowledge of embalming techniques were outstanding. Nick was a legend amongst the funeral service profession. He was an honest, kind hearted, humble and caring man. He loved funeral service. He retired in 2010 but was just a phone call away for any funeral related questions or just to check in. He will be missed sadly by his children and all who knew and loved Nick. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ann Marie (Brogna) Faggas. Devoted father of Dorothy Ann Powers and her husband Michael, George Faggas, Adrianne Faggas, Nicholas G. Faggas, Jr., Marcine Logue, and the late Christopher N. Faggas. Father in law of Debra (Pedersen) Faggas and the late Paul J. “Piggy” Logue. Loving Papa of Tiffany McCarthy and her husband Ryan, Kaitlyn DeSantis and her husband Michael, Annie Zawadzki and her husband Tyson, Nicole Faggas and her fiancé Kevin Reynolds, Ashley Powers, Christina Sansevero and her fiancé Brent Blair, Christopher Faggas, Kara Wisialko and her husband Albert, Anthony Sansevero, Michael Sansevero, Molly Powers & her companion Nick Bambini, Christian Faggas, Addie Faggas, Drew Logue, Taylor Logue, and Emma Logue. George is a graduate of Watertown High School and NEI. George has two children Tiffany A. McCarthy and her husband Ryan and Christopher. He is the proud grandfather to Collin, Gavin and Evan Mccarthy. In his spare time George enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and traveling.

She is an active member of the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, MA, the Mount Auburn Hospital Auxiliary Board. Shis is also a Member Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, Past President of Massachusetts Funeral Director Assocation, Member Maine Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association. A graduate of St. Patrick's High School and FINE mortuary College. She is the mother of Nicole, Christina, Anthony and Michael. She is a loving Yia Yia to her two granddaughters, Madison and Ella. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family in Massachusetts and Maine. She enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking and traveling.

Tiffany is our office manager and assists the directors with day-to-day tasks. She is the granddaughter of the late Nicholas G. Faggas and the daughter of George Faggas. Tiffany and her husband Ryan reside in Norwood with their three boys, Collin, Gavin and Evan. When not assisting in the family business Tiffany is cheering on her boys at their sporting events.
