Xeni (Zabara) Anastos, of Watertown, MA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2020. Beloved wife of Michael A. Anastos. Devoted mother of Lorraine Anastos. Sister of the late Efstathia Binari and the late Dora Falieri. Cherished aunt of Paula Cocoros and her late husband William, Jimmy and Irene Zafferes, and Lewis and Irene Zafferes. Loving cousin of Yanni Zafferes, Georgia Zafferes, Diane Gent and her husband Adam, Alexis Zafferes, and the late John and Diane Zafferes. Loving friend of George and Voula Terzides and Katina Papadopoulos. Theaxeni of Helen and Louie Fenerlis, Costa and Angeliki Terzides,and Vicky and Taso Kenos. Also survived by many relatives and friends here and in Greece. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Sancta Maria Nursing Home for the care and compassion that they provided for Xeni. Special thanks to Nick Papakyriakos of Sancta Maria Nursing Home, who also made sure to visit Xeni each day. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July, 13, 2020.  As a result of the current health crisis in our world today and our love for our family and friends, funeral services and burial will be private.
