Cherished grandfather to Barrington Henry, Debra Henry McKenzie, Benjamin Henry, Narissa Henry, Neressa Henry, Travis Barnes, Kyla Harold, Trod Harold, Tyler Barnes, and Taylor Barnes. Great Grandfather of Nia-Belle Henry, Laila Rose Henry, Alano McKenzie, Kiara McKenzie and the late Angelia Grace Chatters. Loving brother of Gloria Adkins. Loving Godfather to Tanisha Lindsey. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon C. and Marion E. (Bowen) Phillips, his 5 siblings, Eugene C. Phillips, Leon R. Phillips, Ruth Spencer, and Delores Kelton. Funeral Service on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11am at the Union Baptist Church, 874 Main St., Cambridge, Mass. Visiting hours prior to Service from 9 to 11 am in the church. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
