Mrs. Viola (Darveris) Tsechrintzis, 100, passed away Sunday, January 12, surrounded by her loving family at home in Cambridge.  Viola was born January 5, 1925 in Lowell, daughter of the late George of Sparta and Panagiota (Kanellas) Darveris of Athens.  Loving wife to the late Spyros Tsechrintzis who passed away in 1976.

Viola graduated from Lowell High School and worked for over 35 years as Office Manager for The New England Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Viola was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Cambridge and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society.

She is survived by her children, George and his wife Kathy, and Ellen; 3 grandchildren, Scot and his wife Christa, Derek and his wife Cheryl, Amy Wilson and her husband, Michael . She also leaves her 5 adored great granddaughters, Riley, Emily, Julia, Olivia Tsechrintzis and Hallie Wilson and several nieces and nephews including Thomas Wilson who assisted with her day-to-day activities.

Viola was predeceased by her siblings, John Darveris, Mary (Darveris) Favas, Spiro "Spike" Darveris, and Virginia (Darveris) Wilson.

Funeral Service on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:30AM at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 10:30AM -11:30AM.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105. Burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
