Vicky S. Markantonis, 67, of Upton, MA formerly of Belmont, MA passed away on August 3, 2023 following a two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  Born in Sacremento, CA. She was raised in Belmont, MA. Graduated with a Master's degree. She worked as a Sr. Intellectual Property and Paralegal Administrator.  She took pride in her work.  Her most precious accomplishment was raising son Alexander, and spending time with him.  They recently traveled to Greece to visit with relatives. She enjoyed cooking Greek delicacies and made "the best baklava ever".  She enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved taking care of her neighbor Cindy's dog Odin, playing frisbee with him and giving him treats.

Beloved daughter of the late Rev. Fr. Stanley N. and the late Presbytera Helen S. (Sgouros) Markantonis. Devoted Mother of Alexander D. Markantonis. Loving sister of Nicholas S. Markantonis and his wife Catherine, and Athena Markantonis. Loving aunt of Demetri Markantonis, Stelios Markantonis, Alessandra (Markantonis) Gavin and her husband Joseph,2 Elaina (Halkiotis) Lema and her husband Renato Lema, Amanda Halkiotis, and Anna Maria Apostolaki and her husband Giannis. Great aunt of Daphne Gavin. Also survived by many relatives and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Funeral Service on Thursday, August 10,2023 at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA at 10:30AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 9AM to 10:30AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.  Burial in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
