Vasiliki "Bessie", "Sr. Theodoule" Georgakopoulos, 71, of Canton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023. Beloved mother of Demetra Georgakopoulos. Cherished Yiayia of Victoria Shahir and Gabriel Shahir. Loving sister of Dimitri Tsekeris and Theodora Souroufis and her husband George. Also survived by many relatives and friends.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 9:30AM at the Holy Transifguration Monastery, 278 Warren Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Ladies are required to wear head coverings at the monastery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hellenic Nursing Home and Rehab Center, 601 Sherman Street, Canton, Massachusetts  02021.  Burial in The Gardens Cemetery, West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
