Triantafili (Panou) Primpas
Triantafili was born in the small village of Vassara, Lakonias, Greece to the late Pantelis and Stavroula (Karavelis) Panos. She passed away on October 30
th
, 2020 at the age of 101.
She came to the United States in 1966 with her husband Ioannis and two kids, Theodore and Mary. After the passing of her husband in 1967, only one year upon arriving to the United States, she worked as a seamstress for many years to provide for her two kids.
Triantafili was predeceased by her four siblings: Panagiota Prokou, Vasilios Panos, Nikoleta Stavropoulou, and Christos Panos.
Devoted mother of the late Theodore Primpas and his late wife, Stella, and Mary (Primpas) Barounis and her husband, Fotis. Loving grandmother of John Primpas and his wife, Pamela, George Primpas and his wife, Kelly, and Ireni, Kristina, and Juliana Barounis. She is also survived by two great-grandkids, Stella and Teddy Primpas, and also by many relatives and friends both here in the United States and in Greece.
Triantafili is remembered for her big heart, unconditional love, and devotion to her faith.
Funeral Service at 10AM Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named or church or to the Metropolis of Boston Camp, 162 Goddard Ave., Brookline, MA 02445. Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation prior to the service. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
