Tomomi Oi,11, died unexpectedly on August 5, at Boston Medical Center. He was born on November 17, 1992 in Tokyo, Japan. He can to America with is parents at age 6. He attended fifth grade at High Plain Elementary School in Andover. He was also a 6th grade student at Boston Japanese Language School.
He loved playing the violin and piano. He enjoyed video games and reading books. He was also very good at mathematics.
He is survived by his parents Izumi and Naomi(Takeda)Oi and his sister Nozomi Oi. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Kikuo and Misao Oi of Tokyo,Japan and his maternal grandparents, Yasunori and Yoko Takeda of Kawasaki,Japan and many uncles,aunts and cousins in Japan.
