It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theodora "Bunny" Spyropoulos, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.  Bunny, 77, of Watertown, MA (formerly of Belmont, MA) passed away in her home in Varkiza, Greece on June 1st, 2025.

Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Kiriakos and Evangeline Couris.

Bunny worked as an administrative assistant at Polaroid for over 15 years. She met and married the love of her life, Kosta, in 1973 and they embarked on a new life together in Belmont, MA.  It is there they opened their business, Kosta's Originals, located in Cushing Square.

Bunny dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband and daughter. Her greatest joy came from cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her culinary dishes were legendary and her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike.  Bunny instilled her strong values and religious beliefs in her family.  She was President of the Philoptohos of the Taxiarchae Church, she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Greek School PTO.  She loved the Greek culture, music and dancing.

She was the darling wife of Kosta Spyropoulos.  Devoted mother of Leah Baras and her husband, Richard.  Loving Yiayia of Peter and Arianna Baras.  Loving daugher-in-law of the late George and Eugenia Spyropoulos. Cherished sister of the late Eugenia Kourepenis and her husband, the late Steven Kourepenis.  Adored aunt/godmother of Anthony Kourepenos and his wife Elaina and their children and Kerry Kourepenos and his wife, Maria and their children. Loving sister- in- law of Eleni Petroulas and Spiros Spyropoulos and the late George Petroulas.  Also survived by many relatives and friends here and in Greece.

We will always remember Bunny's radiant smile and her joyful laughter.  She will forever be in our hearts.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the Taxiarchae Greek Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA  at 10AM.
