Stephen Kaloyanides, of Peabody, MA, passed away on April 25, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Katherine (Disberakis) Kaloyanides. Devoted father of Stephen Kaloyanides, and Michael George Kaloyanides and his wife Sheila. Loving grandfather of Alexandra Kaloyanides and her husband Larry Ransom-Wiley, Elizabeth Ruderman and her husband Matthew, and Nathan Wade and his wife Rebecca Stevenson. Cherished great grandfather of Julia Ransom, Jane Wade, and Wilhelm Ruderman. Loving brother of Eva George, the Basil Kaloyanides and the late Alexander Kaloyanides. He was dedicated to his career at New England Coffee, a company his father and uncles built and one that was held in the family for nearly 100 years. For much of his career at New England, Steve served as president of the company. He eschewed retirement, and worked as the master coffee taster until shortly before his death. He was beloved by the employees and served as a mentor to many. During World War II, Steve was a radioman in the United States Navy. For much of his life he was an active Mason and achieved the office of District Deputy Grand Warden for the Waltham fifth Masonic District.
