Stella Alexander passed away peacefully on July 1, 2022 at the age of 95. A native of Watertown, she graduated from Watertown High School before attending Academie Moderne, finishing school and receiving an associates degree from Boston University. She was not only admired for her striking blonde hair, beauty and poise, but also recognized for her exceptional organizational and managerial skills. Stella served as secretary to the Chief of Boston Air Procurement District of the U.S. Airforce in Boston. Later she held top administrative support positions at Strategic Air Command and Ford Naval Air Station, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Stella lived in Manhattan for many years and enjoyed the cosmopolitan life style. In NYC she was

executive assistant to Daniel K. Ludwig, entrepreneur and multi-billionaire. She also enjoyed traveling and spent time in Greece assisting her brother, Peter Palashis, in the hotels he managed on the island of Crete and in West Peloponnese.

In her later years Stella moved to Natick to marry Nicholas Alexander. She continued her career in nearby Framingham working in the legal department at TJX Companies. Nick and Stella enjoyed traveling in their retirement.

Shortly after Nick's passing, Stella moved to Brooksby Village in Peabody, a senior living community, where she enjoyed being with friends and participating in various activities.

Her interests included high fashion, keeping up with current events, reading Danielle Steel novels and spending time with family and friends.

Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas Alexander. She is survived by her niece and goddaughter Elaine Stilianos and her husband Eric, and nephew Ted Palashis and his wife Sophie. She was the sister of the late Peter Palashis.  She is survived by many relatives and friends.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the funeral home at 11:00AM.  There will be a brief visitation prior to the Service from 10:30AM to 11:00AM.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Interment will be held in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA.
