Stefanos Boulas, age 72 of Woburn passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on August 25, 1952, to Nicholas and Stella Boulas in Athens, Greece.  Stefanos lived a life full of love, generosity, and dedication to his family.

Stefanos was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Evelyn (Kakambouras), for 44 years and a loving father to four children, Stella Bazidane and her husband Mehdi of Sandown, NH, Irene Ioakimidis and her husband Yianni of West Roxbury, Nicole Jaffe and her husband Evan of Lynn, and Arthur Boulas of Woburn. He was a cherished Papou to seven grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, Stefanos, Kallie, Teddy, George & Angelo, who will forever remember his warmth, wisdom, and countless stories.  He was also a dedicated brother to Ekaterina Boulas of Athens, Greece and uncle to Maria, Nicholas, and Stella of Athens, Greece.  He is also survived by many other family and friends.

Stefanos spent over 25 years as a lobsterman, a life filled with the salty air and the rhythm of the tides. His children cherish the memories of painting buoys, helping him tie off nets, and watching in awe as he expertly tied intricate knots. Those moments, filled with laughter and learning, created a deep bond with the sea and their father.

Through rough seas and calm waters, he greeted each day with a determined spirit, always ready to face whatever the ocean had in store. His hands, weathered and strong, bore the marks of countless days spent hauling traps, yet his heart remained as boundless as the sea itself.

Stefanos was also a passionate hunter who spent countless hours in the Northwoods with his beloved beagles and pointers, pursuing a sport that brought him endless joy and fulfillment. His past time included making unique hunting ammunition for all of his friends. Known for his skill and patience, Stefanos was as dedicated to his dogs as he was to the hunt, forming bonds that were as unbreakable as they were heartwarming.

Stefanos will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave, Woburn, MA. Visitation prior to the funeral service from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
