It was her goal to get a good job and set up housekeeping to bring her entire family to Cambridge, in 1937. That goal was accomplished and their dreams fulfilled. She met and married the love her life, James P. Vergados, a Boston Businessman, 1940, and started their life together. Her life spanned for 100 years. It is hard to write all the changes and experiences that she lived though, but throughout her life, she lived it to the fullest. Her devotion to her family, children and friends continued throughout her life until her passing. She was an excellent seamstress, who just for her own hobby would make all her clothes, and that of her family. She excelled in baking and her entertaining, and most of all her "never forgotten signature blueberry pies". The years passed and throughout it all, she enjoyed all life had to offer, traveled, summers at the beach, enjoying company of friends and family. She had a 100th birthday celebration at home with family, cousins and friends. She enjoyed good health until near the end, and remained at home and the last three weeks cared for at the Muriel Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, MA. The family wishes to extend their thanks to all that cared for her these last few months both at home and at Parlin Hospice Residence. She passed in the same way she lived her life "in dignity".
