Sophia
Fitopoulos
August 8, 1986 – June 24, 2024
Sophia Fitopoulos unexpectedly passed away June 24th, 2024. She was born in Seattle, Washington to Mary (Varanakis) and her late father Micheal "Father George" Adondakis, who was later tonsured a monk.
She leaves behind three amazing children, Paul, Michaela, and Chris, who will carry on her legacy; her husband George; her mother Mary (Uncle George) Varanakis; three siblings Greg (Tara) Adondakis, Sam (Kate) Adondakis, and Carolynn (Jorge) Daskalakis; her beloved Uncle Father Isaac; her loving in-laws Pavlo and Chrysi Fitopoulos and their children Theodore (Ana), Sonia (John); and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sophia was a beautiful soul and the most selfless person who constantly put others and her faith before herself. Anyone who knew her would comment on her infectious smile and laugh. She was so full of life and would always light up the room. Forever she will live on through her three children, all of whom have parts of Sophia in them.
Sophia moved to Boston, MA in 2005 for college which is where she found love and sacrificed living across country from her family to begin her life as a wife and mother. She was an amazing mother, who always made sure her kids had everything they could ever need, were involved in all the school activities they could handle, and all the play dates. As a wife, she was the most loving and caring person a husband could ask for, she loved to travel, and was unmatched as a partner to binge TV with.
May her memory be eternal.
