We regret to announce the unexpected passing of Sherry D. Lavalle, 71, of Cambridge, Ma. on Aug. 9, 2023.

Sherry was born on Jan. 9, 1952, to the late James W. Lavalle and Voula (Demos) Lavalle in Boston, Ma. She grew up in Cambridge, Ma., where she graduated from Cambridge High and Latin. She went on to work as Assistant Registrar of Emmanuel College for over 25 years.

Sherry loved her family, poetry, music, and especially animals. However, nothing compared to the love that she felt for her beloved partner of more than 35 years, John "Jack" Roche, who left this world before her.

She is survived by her 7 siblings and their families.

Those who knew her will miss and love her forever.
