(North Chelmsford MA) Ronald E. Hayes (Ducky) November 14th, 1940 - December 5th, 2015 Surrounded by his loving family, Ronald Hayes passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5th after a brief illness. Ronald, or Ronnie or Ducky as he was known by, was born in Cambridge MA on November 14th, 1940 to the late Joseph and Sadie (Freedman) Hayes. For years, he ran two successful Cambridge businesses; a candy business out of Durands as well as being the owner and proprietor of Guertins Bar. In later life, he worked at Massport as a financial supervisor, having retired in late 2006. He was pre-deceased by his wife Shirley (Liberacki). After her death, he moved to Chelmsford to be with his daughter Marcia and her family. He had two passions in later life; his family and his love for cars. He spent many days with his only grand child Rachel. He leaves his daughter and son-in-law Marcia and Andrew Weiner and his grand daughter Rachel, all of North Chelmsford. He also leaves his loving sisters Marilyn (Caleri) of Medford and Betty of Hyde Park. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
