Rodi Kouthouridis, of Brighton, Mass., passed away on January 23, 2021. Rodi was born in Sohum, Russia and came to America in 1967 at the age of 38 , with $50.00 in her wallet and a pair of scissors.  Her hard work and business ethics proved to make her a successful business woman. in 1977, she opened her own dry cleaning business, Crown Cleaners,  in Boston's Back Bay.  Her expertise as a seamstress brought her much success.  She was well known and loved by all of the local lawyers, physicians, business owners and families in the area. She worked right up until her health began to decline in late September, 2020. When she was not working, she enjoyed cooking greek dishes for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Dimitrios Kouthouridis. Devoted mother of Ioannis Kouthouridis and his wife Eugenia, Magdaline Mikelis, and Christine Kantakas and her husband Efthimios. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings. Loving yiayia of Rodi Mikelis, Ypakoi Eve Kantakas, Rodi Bocolos and her husband Nikos, Dimitrios Kouthouridis, George Kouthouridis and Aristi , Theofilos Kouthouridis, and John Kouthouridis, Jr.  Great Yiayia of George Kouthouridis, Jr, Ioanna Kouthouridis, Eugenia Kouthouridis, and Niki Bocolos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  May her memory be eternal. Graveside Service will be held on Thurs., January 28, 2021 at 11:30 AM at The Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA.
