Robert "Bobby" Austin Ward, 73, of Davenport, Florida passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2023. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to James M. and Helen G. (Faggas) Ward. He attended Framingham Public Schools. He went to cosmetology school and later moved to Truro, Massachusetts with his late partner, Richard Shay, where they made their home. He worked at the Provincetown Inn for many years until the owner passed away and the business was sold. He moved to Davenport, Florida 28 years ago with his late partner, Richard, where worked for Disney World until his sudden passing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed visiting the theme parks. He was a fabulous cook and baker. He enjoyed traveling and recently went to Italy and Greece with his family. He loved his yorkie "Jack". He loved to read his kindle and talk on the phone. He always had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh. His family gave him the title of "The Dutchess of Davenport" and "Vula K". His passing has left a giant void in the hearts of those who loved him so dearly. May his memory be eternal.
He was predeceased by his parents, James M. and Helen Ward, and his late partner Richard Shay. Devoted brother of George Ward and his wife Brenda, and James M. Ward Jr. and his wife Natalie. Loving uncle of Darryl Ward and his wife Shannon Elizabeth, and Heather Corbin and her husband Shannon Paul. Great uncle of Ava Claire, Ruby, Bennett, Andrew, Jacob, Emily and Elliot. Loving nephew of Aphrodite Fisher, Ann Marie Faggas, Jerry Ward, the late Hazel Ward McGrath,and the late Bob Ward, the late Jack Ward,the late Robert Fisher, the late Charles and Mary Faggas, and the late Nicholas G. Faggas. Devoted cousin of Adrianne Faggas whom was like a sister, Paula Meidanis and her husband Robert, Dorothy Powers and her husband Mike, George Faggas, Nicholas Faggas Jr, and Marcine Logue, and the late Robert Fisher, the late James Faggas, and the late Alexandra Tsavalakoglou. He is also survived by his yorkie Jack, many cousins and dear friends here and in Florida.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
