Robert Charles Silver died peacefully at his home in Lasell Village, Auburndale, on January 15, 2012. A former Boston Attorney and Naval Aviator, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margery Hutter Silver, his daughters Althea Silver and Julie McKinney, his son-in law Alec McKinney, 4 grandsons, Azar Silver and Casey, Tyler, and Riley McKinney, and his brother Alan Richard Silver of Pensacola, Fla. Mr Silver made an anatomical donation to Harvard Medical School. No services will be held. Contributions in his memory may be made to the BU medical school Parkinson's Research Center, the Perkins School, or the Home for Little Wanderers.
