A Franciscan Priest of the Reformed Catholic Church and the Servant General of the Order Franciscans of Divine Mercy and Love of God, a/k/a Order of Franciscans of Mercy or OFM and pastor/ founder (July 15, 2001) of the Mission of Saints Sergius & Bacchus.

Fr. Bob was the son of the later James Robert & Elizabeth (Ryan).  He is survived by a son and daughter, and 2 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his youngest son.

Before joining the priesthood, Fr. Bob was an actor, producer, director and writer of stage, television and films.  He directed the New England passion play, The Christus many times. A supporter of many cultural and theater organizations during his life, Fr. Bob also taught in the California Catholic Diocesan & Massachusetts school systems for many years.

A memorial service will be held on January 4, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave, Boston, MA 02130.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (https://www.dana-farber.org) or The Reformed Catholic Church, Office of the Presiding Bishop, 19 E.
