Richard Davis "Dick" Bergstrom of Salem passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Roycroft) Bergstrom. Preceding him in death were his parents John Howard Bergstrom and Sarah Elizabeth Bergstrom, also his Brother John Howard Bergstrom Jr. He is survived by his children Richard Davis Bergstrom, Jr. of Medway, Darlene Marie Cerce of North Attleboro, Amy Rose DiLisio and her husband Jay of Attleboro, Adam Knowles of San Franciso and Amy Knowles of Springfield. He is survived by his Twin brother Robert Allen (Mary Alice) Bergstrom of Mississippi, Ernest Joseph Bergstrom of Cambridge, Kathryn (Charles) Blood of Holliston, and Sister in Law Mary Bergstrom of Plymouth. He was the loving grandfather of Andrew Christopher Cerce, Nathan Zachary Cerce and Ryan James DiLisio. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visiting hours are Thursday, August 2nd from 11:00-1:00 P.M. at the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA., followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at a later date at the request of the family. Dick loved the ocean , especially Cape Cod. He was an avid sailor. He loved to cook and host family and friends, he was the life of the party. He enjoyed being outdoors , in the winter Dick enjoyed skiing , in the warmer months he enjoyed gardening and biking. Dick loved to watch golf on tv. Dick loved to spend time with his grandson's.
