Pota (Papayannopoulos) Evangelis of Somerville, Massachusetts, passed away on February 14, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Nikolaos S. Evangelis. Devoted mother of Stamatios, Dimitrios, George & his wife Julie and Kaliopi Evangelis. Sister of Chris Papayannopoulos & his wife Anna, Stratis Papayannopoulos & his late wife Maria, Antonis Papayannopoulos & his wife Fifi , Fotini Karahalios & her late husband Kostas and the late George Papagiannopoulos & his wife Eleni. Sister in law of Michael Evangelis & his wife Kitsa. Loving Yiaya of Nikolaos & Panayiotis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral on Friday, Feb. 21 ^st at 10AM in the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, Massachusetts . Visitation on Thursday, Feb. 20 ^th from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Mt Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
