Kapelos - Poppy L. of Melbourne, FL formerly of Watertown passed away peacefully on September 19,2016. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas G. Kapelos and the late Michael DiPalma. Beloved mother of Michael L. DiPalma & his wife Laurie and John DiPalma & his wife Cathy. Loving grandmother of Amber Balzer & her husband Phillip , Corina DiPalma, and Michael R. DiPalma. Sister of the late Stephen Janakas. Poppy loved to travel to Greece , she loved Greek Music, Greek Food and especially Greek Dancing . She was a wonderful cook and well known for her Greek Pastries. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 23rd at 10 am in the Evergreen Cemetery, 2060 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA. Visiting hours on Thursday, Sept. 22nd from 5 to 8 pm in the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Boston, MA.
