Polixeny (Keramaris) Kuliopulos, 102, of Fall River, MA, She was born on April 8, 1912 in Neapolis, Kozani, Greece and passed away on March 18, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Athanasios Kuliopulos. Devoted mother of Theophilos Kuliopulos and his wife Mary, the late Argirios Kuliopulos and his wife Maria, and the late Eleni Kuliopulos..Loving grandmother of Harriet Kuliopulos, Athan Kuliopulos and his wife Patricia Wyffels, Christos Kuliopulos and his wife Julie, Thannasi Kuliopulos and his wife Vasiliki and Jason Kuliopulos. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren Capri, Nikos, and Colson, and many relatives and friends. Mrs. Kuliopulos immigrated to the U.S. from Greece at age 25 to join her husband in Fall River, where they raised their three children. She lived there until age 99, when she moved to Provincetown. A homemaker and business woman, she managing real estate and her husband's restaurant after he passed away in 1958. She grew up on a farm and raised silkworms as a child, using the silk for embroideries. An avid cook and baker, she made her own soap and knitted beautiful afghans for friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and last visited Greece by herself at 90 years old as a delegate to the annual Pan Macedonian Convention. Active in her church, she was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Daughters of Penelope. She attributed her longevity to both good genesher grandmother passed away at 111 and she still has siblings in their 90sand healthy eating. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Demetrios Greek Church, 289 Main St., Fall River, MA. There will be a brief visitation prior to the Service from 10:30 to 11AM in the church. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.
