Obituary

Philip Joseph (Reader Nicholas) Trahan died peacefully on 25 February 2010 after a valiant battle with leukemia. Proud member of the National Paralegal Association and the Massachusetts Paralegal Association. He was a master genealogist. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters Anna Elizabeth Trahan and Alexandra Mary Trahan of Stratford; a brother Kevin Trahan and a sister Courtenay Alexis Trahan, both of Trumbull; his aunt and uncle Barbara and James Kohler of Weston; his "special" aunt Gertrude (Koky) Kohler of Norwalk; uncle Robert Napoleon Trahan of Canaan; uncle Conald Yvo Trahan of Essex Junction, VT; and hundreds of cousins throughout the world, most especially Susan Abbot of Bridgeport. Funeral Service on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:30am in the Russian Orthodox Church of Presentation of Christ in the Temple, 5 Wheeler Terrace, Stratford, CT 06614. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Treatments For Trahan," c/o The Sarov Press, PO Box 665, Medford, MA 02155 (to help pay for funeral expenses); the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Natick, MA 01760; St. John Chrysostomos Orthodox Church, 173 Essex Street, Saugus, MA 01906; and finally to the Convent of St. Nicholas, 24 Tynan Road, Cleveland, NY 13042, care of Mother Agapia (Stephanopoulos). There will be a Pannikhida Service at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 1, 2010 in the Russian Orthodox Church of Presentation of Christ in the Temple, 5 Wheeler Terrace, Stratford, CT 06614.
