Peter Nikas, of Newton, Mass., passed away suddenly on March 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Georgia (Giannakopoulos) Nikas. Devoted father of Dimitri and Evgenia Nikas. Beloved son of Evgenia Nikas and the late Dimitrios Nikas. Loving brother of Andrew Nikas. Son in law of Ilias and Voula Giannakopoulos. Brother in law of Helen Koutsouris and her husband Periklis and Charlie Giannakopoulos and his wife Alexia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA on Monday, March 23, at 9am followed by Services in the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA at 10am. Visiting hours on Sunday 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
