Peter Karafotias,33, of Westwood, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly, on July 1, 2017, in Tarpon Springs, Florida, surrounded by his family. Beloved son of Nickolas and Marina (Bitsikas) Karafotias. Devoted brother of Kristen Karafotias and her fiance George Papadogiannis. Loving grandson of Theodoros Bitsikas. Peter was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Demetra Karafotias, and his maternal grandmother, Christina Bitsikas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, beloved cousins, and many friends here and in Florida. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, Mass. at 11:30AM. There will be a brief visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11:30AM at the church. Burial will be held at The Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA.
