Pauline (Mandis) Matthew, longtime resident of Lexington, MA, formerly of Arlington, MA, passed away peacefully on August 9,2022 at the age of 97. Beloved mother of John Matthew and his wife Faye. Loving sister of Barbara Paris, and John Mandis, and the late George Mandis. Devoted daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Caperonis) Mandis. Pauline worked at Harvard University, English Department for 50 years. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 18,2022 at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA at 10Am. Visitation prior to the service from 9AM to 10AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Interment at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St., Lexington, MA.
