Paula Diamond's Obituary

Paula Diamond, of Watertown, MA, fell asleep in the Lord, on June 7, 2020.  Paula was born on March 10, 1930, to George and Anastasia Diamandopoulos, in Athens, Greece. Paula came to live in Pensacola, FL in the mid 1950's, and moved to Massachusetts in 1966, where she studied design and operated Diamond Draperies until the 1990's.

Paula was the youngest of four siblings, who all preceded her in death – her brother, Efstathios Diamond of Los Angeles; Dorothea Apostle of Pensacola, FL; and Martha Fertis of Athens, Greece. She is survived by her brother-in-law, George Apostle; and her nephew, John Apostle. She leaves behind several grand-nieces and grand-nephews whom she loved very much - Christopher and Rachel Baucom; Carlos, George and Maria Apostle, and her great-grandniece, Kathryn Baucom. As a result of the current health crisis in our world today and our love for our family and friends, funeral services and burial will be private. Burial will take place in Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Taxiarchae Greek Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA 02472.
