Paul (Apostolos) Stathakis, 76, of Brockton, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 while vacationing on his native island of Limnos,Greece. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Vemis) Stathakis.

Born in Daphne Limnos, he was the son of the late Argirios and Fani Stathakis and brother of the late Haralambos and Dimitrios Stathakis. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1968, married in 1971 and lived in Brockton with his family for the last 45 years.

He is survived by his two sons, Eric of NY and Bill of CT, four siblings, Ellie Gianoula of Greece, Nicholas Stathakis of Arlington, Maria Garalis of Woburn and Anastasios Stathakis of N. Attleboro along with their families, many nieces and nephews here in the U.S. and in Greece.  He was also the brother-in-law of Elpida Keramidas, Eleftheria and Bill Theos and Roxanne Vemis and their families along with many friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street in Brockton, followed by a Funeral liturgy at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
