Panagiota Pavlakos of Arlington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
Panagiota was born in Sparta, Greece. She married Pavlos Pavlakos in 1958, and moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1960. Panagiota and Pavlos went on to have two children, Alexandra and Peter Pavlakos.
Panagiota was known for her selflessness and commitment to making sure everyone always had more than enough, whether that was with her food or her love. She will be remembered for always enjoying the simple things in life; sipping hot coffee on the porch, talking with loved ones, outdoor walks, and admiring all the beauty of flowers.
Panagiota was predeceased by her husband, Pavlos. She is survived by her two kids and their spouses; Alexandra & Clive Goodwin and Peter & Sandra Pavlakos, her sister; Ourania Pappas, her brother in-law John Pappas, her nieces; Georgia and Stephanie, her nephew; Chris, her granddaughters; Ashley and Kassie and her grandson, Peter.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA at 11AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, MA.
