Nikolaos Michaelidis, of Norwood, Mass., passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born in Agios Nikolaos, Greece. Beloved husband of the late Anna (Kelpetzidis) Michaelidis. Devoted father of Evmorfili Petridis and her husband Stavros, Despina Asaridis and her husband Ioannis, Lazarus Michaelidis and his wife Maria, Alexandros Michaelidis and his wife Chrysanthe, Christos Michaelidis and his wife Stamatia, and Demetrios Michaelidis and his wife Angela. Loving grandfather of Anastasios and Despina Petridis, Eugenia, Maria, Anna, and George Asaridis, Anna, Sofia, and Stylianos Michaelidis, Anna, Nikolaos, and Matheos Michaelidis, Eirini and Elefterios Michaelidis, Nikolaos, Sophia, and Christian Michaelidis. Great Grandfather of Georgios Asaridis of Katerini, Greece . Brother of Athanasia Fotopoulos and Georgia Kapanidis. He was predeceased by his siblings: Eleni Papadopoulos, Andreas Michaelidis, Fotini Gerasmidis, Ioannis Michaelidis, Theodora Tsilipanos, and Demetrios Michaelidis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale, Mass. at 10AM. Visiting hours on Tuesday, August 21st at the church from 5PM to 8PM Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the church. Burial in The Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury, Mass.
