Nick Kondochriste, 71, of Kingston, MA, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025. Born on January 26, 1954, in Boston, he lived a life filled with warmth, generosity, and a deep connection to his family and heritage.

Nick was the beloved son of the late Christe Kondochriste and Helen Gavalas Green. Raised in a close-knit family, he carried those strong values throughout his life. He was a proud brother to Faith Ingalls, Cathy Lieneck, and Kim Perazzelli, and shared strong bonds with his brothers-in-law Peter Lieneck and Jim Perazzelli. He was a devoted uncle to Jeff, Greg, Andrew, Amanda, and held a special place in the hearts of his goddaughters and nieces Allasyn and Stacia. Nick brought joy and support into their lives. His extended family included his cherished Aunt Vikki and Uncle Richie, along with many loving cousins and friends who enriched his life.

Nick's generous spirit shone through in every interaction. Always ready with a helping hand or a kind word, he was known for his happy-go-lucky demeanor and tireless work ethic. Whether assisting friends or supporting relatives during tough times, Nick's presence was both comforting and uplifting.

He found joy in simple pleasures that connected him to nature and tradition. A passionate outdoorsman, Nick loved digging for clams-especially steamers and quahogs-and fishing along the New England coast. He also enjoyed hiking with friends, embracing the beauty of the natural world with enthusiasm.

A man of faith, Nick was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and remained dedicated to its traditions throughout his life. His spiritual grounding was evident in the way he treated others - with compassion, humility and unwavering loyalty.

A funeral service celebrating Nick's life will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church located at 119 Common Street in Braintree, Massachusetts. A viewing will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM. Following the service, a traditional Greek Makaria luncheon will honor Nick's memory. Nick Kondochriste will be remembered as a caring brother, uncle, godfather, and friend whose legacy continues through all those whose lives he touched. May his memory be eternal.
