Nicholas G. Coufos of Chestnut Hill was loved by all who knew him. He arrived in the US in 1954 from Vassara, Greece. He worked hard holding multiple jobs to support his family, Eugenia his late wife and children George, Peter and Eleni. He eventually found success as the proprietor of the Chestnut Hill Food Shop in Newton where he was well known and loved throughout the Boston College Community. Ever the optimist, Nicholas loved life, had a great sense of humor and had a way of bringing out the best in everyone he met. He leaves a legacy of love and kindness to his family. Naturally he is adored by his five grandchildren Evyenia and Nicholas of Wayland, Ma and Panagiotis, Yeoryia and Nikos of Athens, Greece. Son in law Georgios Meletis of Athens, Greece and daughter in law Karen Coufos of Wayland, MA. Brother of Anastasios Koufos & his wife Magdalini ,Panos Coufos and his wife Chrystanthe. Nick was predeceased by his siblings John Koufos, Christophili Karalis and Maria Stavropoulos. He is also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews.
