It is with great sadness that the family of Nassif Saliba announce his passing on Monday, October 15, 2018, at the age of 91 in Burlington, MA. Nassif will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 61 years, Nawal Assi Saliba; his children, Nazek and her late husband Jamil, Elie, Nizar, Myrna and her husband Bargis, and Richard. Nassif (Jiddo) will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Roy and his wife Mireille, Remy and her husband Fadi Khadra, Dory, Kristie, Julien, Michael, Emily, Nada and her husband Samer Rhayem, Nour, and Sarah; he is also survived by his brothers Salim and his wife Rosette, George and his wife Katia, Bechara and his wife Claude, his loving sisters Souad and her late husband Abdelnour, his sister Zehiyye, and numerous nephews and nieces. Nassif was preceded in death by his brothers, Haikal and his late wife Bahiya, and Assad and his wife Milia. Nassif was a great family leader and will be forever remembered for his dignity, honesty, and humility. A wake service in memory of Nassif will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 during the hours of 2:00 to 5:00 PM, at Faggas Funeral Home - 551 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown, MA 02472.In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Nassif may be made to St Nicholas church in Chrine, Lebanon,donations should be in the form of cash as the church is unable to accept international checks. The family will take the donations to the church during the funeral services. Nassif will be laid to rest in his hometown, Chrine in Lebanon, the week of October 22, 2018.
