Michael Xenakis, born April 5, 1929, precious father and grandfather, went home to the Lord, peacefully, on December 4, 2017. He was born in Athens, Greece to Zafirios and Maria Xenakis. He had seven brothers and sisters. Anna and Evthokia (deceased), Elias, Sotirios, Pavlos (deceased) and Nikiforos. He served in the Hellenic Royal Navy of Greece for five years. Michael married Georgia Marinakis in 1953. They meet in Boston, while he was still in the Navy. Georgia predeceased him in 2006. They were married for 53 wonderful years. He is survived by his devoted daughters Marilyn Davis and Michelle Gould, beloved son-in-law Christopher Gould Sr., cherished grandchildren, Christopher Gould Jr., Julianne, Lauren and Jennifer Gould, dearest brother Sotirios, his wife Anna and nephew Jeff Xenakis. Michael worked at BLH Electronics in Waltham, collaborating with NASA, before retiring after 40 years. He was a precious, kind, compassionate, good humored and loving man. He was a gentleman with great wisdom and respect for all. All who knew him, loved him. He was a treasure and will be greatly missed.....until we see you again.....
