Michael
Petsalis
July 1, 1933 – August 29, 2024
Fell asleep peacefully at home on August 26, 2024.
He was born on July 1, 1933 to parents Fotis and Katerina in Kos, Greece.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Koko of 61 years, his daughter Irene and his son Foti (Tammy) and loving "Papou Mike" to his grandchildren Katerina and Theo. He was preceded in death by his brothers Theodore and Ioannis. Michael is also survived by his brother Sevastos (Despina), and sister Argyro (George) and dozens of nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
He immigrated from Greece to Boston in 1964 and devoted his life to his family. He worked tirelessly his entire life. Michael retired from the union after 30 years and joined Market Basket for 20+ years until he turned 90 years old. He loved being with his coworkers and customers.
He was a kind and caring man with a gentle soul. Mike is loved by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the loving care provided by Nurse Erin.
We are beyond blessed for an amazing father, papou, uncle, friend and neighbor in our lives.
