Michael
Nikiforov
October 22, 1987 – August 20, 2022
Michael Nikiforov of Framingham, Massachusetts, passed away on August 20, 2022 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Loving son of Pauline and Victor Nikiforov. Warmhearted "little" brother to Anastasia Nikiforov. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins in both the US and Australia.
Michael Nikiforov, known as Misha, was born in Framingham, Massachusetts. Growing up, thanks to an early growth spurt, he was the tallest in any classroom - but even larger was his personality. Loud, goofy, funny, and always smiling, Mike was impossible to miss. He attended Framingham High School where he was the captain and starting goalie for the varsity soccer team, in addition to playing lacrosse and basketball. His senior year, he won two senior superlatives: "Most School Spirit" and "Best Looking."
Michael then went to Bentley University, where in addition to being a five year member of the varsity soccer team, he earned his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting. He was once again named team captain, and in his final year, he was named Northeast-10 Conference Goaltender of the Year https://www.wickedlocal.com/story/waltham-news-tribune/2010/11/03/bentley-1-new-haven-0/40901581007/
His family and friends will remember his big smile, loud laugh, silly impersonations, and general happy-go-lucky demeanor. Michael will be greatly missed by all.
