Mickie was known for her vivacious personality. She was always ready with a smile, a gentle hug or a tootsie pop. The majority of her career was doing administrative work and grant writing in the Research Department at McLean Hospital, and then followed a leading Alzheimer's researcher, Dennis Selkoe, to Brigham and Womens. When Mickie finally retired, she worked in the office of her beloved Taxiarchae Church with Fr. Metaxas and Fr. Ted whom she loved and held very close to her heart. She loved her church, and the community. Family meant everything to her. She would look at her four kids pictures many times during the day and pray for each by name, including her grand kids and great grand kids. As Mickie's family grew, so did her love. She was very proud of all her family. She enveloped each with her hugs, and her love and kisses. Her love was endless.
Mickie will be greatly missed.
