Mertin R. Betts, of Cambridge, Mass., passed away on Oct. 18, 2015. Loving fiance of Elaine Young. Loving father of Crystal Betts, Darnell Campbell, Melvin Betts IV, Nathan Betts, Gary Williams and Christie Betts. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Carol (Haynes) Betts and his brother Adam Betts, Sr. Cherished grandfather of Barkari, Dakota, Cheyanne, Darnell, Jr., Dalisaand Darrell, Sr., Melvin, Jr., Dezmon, Tevin, Isaiah Jayden, Nathan, Jr., Kammeo, Kyroe, Nia, Kyle, Gary, Jr., Elana, Devon and Jaedyn. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Harlem, Ahzhya, Darrell, Jr. and Khyree Campbell and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 at the Mass Ave Baptist Church, 146 Hampshire St., Cambridge, Mass. at 10:30 AM. Visitation prior to Services from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
