Lempesis, Mary"Maria" (Menounos) of Arlington, age 107 passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12 at the Park Avenue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas C. Lempesis. Devoted mother of Georgia L. and her husband Homer N. Ypsilantis . Grandmother of Nicholas H. Ypsilantis and his wife Kathy, Evan H. Ypsilantis and his wife Effie and Mark H. Ypsilantis and his wife Jane. Great Grandmother of Christina , Alexander, Everett, Evan H. II, Luke, Petra and Caterina. Sister of Eleni Michos of Athens, Greece and her late brother Theodore Menounos of Nafplion, Greece. She leaves, in addition several nieces, nephews, all of whom are residing in Greece. Funeral service on Wednesday, February 15th from the St. Athanasius the Great Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington at 9 am followed by services at 10 am. Visiting hours on Tuesday, February 14th from 4 to 8pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington. Donations in her memory may be made to the above named church or the Park Avenue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 146 Park Ave, Arlington. Burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
