Martin D. Martinos, of Belmont, MA, passed away on July 9, 2014. Beloved husband of Irene (Lyras) Martinos. Devoted father of Lillian Martinos Nikolaidis and her husband Paul, Mark Martinos and his wife Carol and Dimitrios Martinos and his wife Diane. Loving grandfather of Miranda Martinos, Mark Martinos, Jr., Dimitrios Martinos, Jr., Alexander Nikolaidis, Alexander Martinos and Irini Nikolaidis. Brother of Garafalia Martinos, Anastasia Kefalas and her husband Costa, Angie Kariadakis and her husband Manoli, Peter Martinos and his wife Marilyn and the late George Martinos. Brother in law of Joanne Martinos and Maria Lyras. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11am at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA. Visitation prior to Service from 9:30 to 11am at the church.
