Mark D. Dresse, 35, of Charlestown died on Friday November 19, 2004. Mark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Parkland High School. He attended the Center for Creative Studies and the College of Art and Design in Detroit, Michigan. Mark was an accomplished print maker and painter. His long history of involvement in the arts started with study under Meyron Barnstone of Copley, PA. Mark had exhibited his art at several local galleries. He was an Industrial Design Project Manager at Thermo Electron Corporation in Waltham. He was also an avid fan of FI racing and the fine arts. He was a member of The Artist Group of Charlestown and the Industrial Design Society of America. Mark in his short life, lived not only the length but the width of life in his family,friendships and avocations. He is survived by his parents John W. and Patricia A.(Siter)Dreese of Holly Springs, NC, his brother Kevin T. Dresse and his wife Jennifer of Brookline, MA. Life Partner of Bud Turner of Charlestown, MA. Grandson of Helen Dreese. Nephew of Richard Siter and his wife Maryann of Bethlehem, PA. Great Nephew of George Banko and his wife Grace and Ruth Patterson. Also survived by many loving friends.
