Mark J. Demello's Obituary
Mark Jonathan DeMello,47,of Cambridge,Mass. died on Monday evening at the Massachusetts General Hospital of internal injuries due to a pedestrian accident.
Mark was a graduate of Winnisquam Regional High School '75, and earned dual degrees in Zoology and Psychology from UNH. Continuing his schooling,he obtained his Masters in Education and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University.
Mark was the Director of Mental Health at South Shore in Quincy for many years. As an entrepreneur,he became a grant-writer combining his love for writing and his beliefs as a human rights activist. Most recently, Kennedy Publishing Co. in Boston employed Mark.
He is survived by his parents Joseph and Dolores
(Constantine)DeMello. His sisters, Susan Oehlschlaeger-Hildreth and Lauren Hull. He is survived by his nephew Aaron Oehlschlaeger. He is also survived by his dear friends Truman,Pedro and Fr. Connie Goggin.
Mark will be forever remembered for his love of the Arts,his desire to travel, and his quick wit.
