Marie Louise Halla, 50, of Westfield, passed away suddenly on September 28, 2008 in Noble Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Halla and
the late Jeanne(Desmarais) Bancroft. Lifelong, loving partner of James M. Ward. Devoted Mother of Christopher Halla and his companion Kristen Miner of Westfield. Loving Grandmother of Levi and Christopher Halla. Loving Sister of Joseph Guay of Southampton, Robert Guay of Springfield, Michael Halla of Talkeetna, AK, William Bancroft of Westfield, Jeanne (Bancroft) Piper and Judith (Bancroft) Piper of Blandford and the late Thomas Guay and Laurence Bancroft. Stepdaughter of Laurence Bancroft. She also leaves her beloved pets: Maggie, Larry, Minnie and Thomas. She was devoted to her lifelong companion and a loving Mother to her son. She doted on her grandchildren. She was also very close to her siblings. She was an avid gardener and loved kayaking. She was a kind, caring and compassionate woman and had a zest for life. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. She worked in independent home health care . A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at a time to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made in Marie's memory to Westfield Bank college trust for her two beloved grandchildren Levi and Christopher Halla.
