Maria (Belezos) Papagianopoulos, 96, of Jamaica Plain, MA passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Kollines, Arkadia, Greece. Beloved wife of the late Vasilios Papagianopoulos. Devoted mother of Chris Pappas and his wife Kelly, Peter Papagianopoulos  and his wife Jean, and Jeannie Papagiorgakis and her husband Peter.  Loving grandmother of Gina Galanos and her husband Sotirios, William Papagianopoulos, Kostas Papagiorgakis and his girlfriend Elaine, Derek Papagianopoulos and his fiancé Taylor, Chris Pappas and his fiancé Kristin, and William Pappas.  Great grandmother of Peter Papagianopoulos.   Sister of Vasilios Belezos and his wife Roula, Penelope Kolliopoulos, and the late Costas Belezos.  Sister in law of Acimo Belezos, and the late Dimitrios Kolliopoulos.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service at 11AM on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England, 514 Parker St., Boston, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM-11AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.
