Maria I. (Stefanou) Angelakis of Burlington, Mass. passed away on February 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Iosif S. Angelakis . She was born in Filiatra, Messinia, Greece. Devoted mother of  Panagiota Phillos & her husband Haralambos, Sotirios Angelakis & his wife Claudia, Georgia Christakis & her husband Anthony and the late Eleni Angelakis.  Sister of Fotini Stefanou. Sister-in-law of Dimitrios Angelakis & his wife Vasiliki of Greece, Constandinos Angelakis & his wife Nickolitsa of Arlington, Georgios Angelakis & his wife Garifalia of Greece, Dionysios Angelakis & his wife Stavroula of Winchester and Maria Androsopoulos & her late husband Andreas of Greece. Grandmother of Dimitra Phillos & her husband Christopher Hines, George Phillos & his wife Christina, and Peter & Joseph Christakis, and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11AM  at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10AM – 11AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will take place in Agios Andreas Cemetery, Filiatra, Greece. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA.
