Margarita Fragakis

Margarita (Bakrozis) Fragakis, of Canton, Massachusetts died peacefully on April 25, 2026, in Milton, Massachusetts. Born on October 21, 1937, in Aigion, Greece, Rita, as she was known by her loved ones, was the beloved wife of the late George Fragakis, and daughter of the late Andreas and Maria Bakrozis. She was predeceased by her two brothers George and Meletios Bakrozis. She is survived by her three children, Eleni Delaporta and her fiance Kevin Anfield, Pavlos Fragakis and his fiance Christine O’Connor, and Maria Kazis and her husband Vasilios Kazis. She was a loving yiayia to her six grandchildren, Antonios Delaporta, Margarita Delaporta, Athanasios Kazis, Georgia Kazis, George Fragakis and Elias Fragakis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church at 39 Belgrade Ave. Roslindale, MA 02131 at 11:30am, with burial to follow at The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral services from 10:00am - 11:30am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita’s memory to St. Nectarios Endowment Fund.
