Eleftheria "Liberty" Bouris passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 21st. A devoted wife of 56 years, a loving mother, Yiayia, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend; she will be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Born in Lia, Greece, Liberty was nine days short of turning 77. She spent her life taking care of her family, loved ones, and her community. Despite battling a long-term illness, she always found time to put others first. She worked tirelessly alongside her loving husband as they started their own pizzeria and later their ice cream parlor in Natick, Massachusetts; both stores are affectionately  named after her and serve as a testament to her strong spirit and selfless work ethic.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ioannis "John" Bouris, her daughter Stavroula and her husband George Gurguliatos, her son Kyriako and his wife Rachael Bouris, and two grandchildren whom she adored, Philippos and Elli Gurguliatos.

She is also survived by her siblings, Demetrios Gatzogiannis and his wife Helen, Ourania Stratis and her husband Panyiotis, Vasiliki Kyros, George Gatzogiannis and his wife Vasiliki, and the late Elias Gatzogiannis, the late Chrysoula Gatzogiannis and the late Agathi Gatzogiannis.  Sister- in-law of Gramany Gatzogiannis and the late Kostantinos Kyros.

Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. Demetrios Greek Othodox Church, 57 Brown Street, Weston, MA at 11AM.  There will be a brief visitation prior to the Service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her memory to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.  Burial in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick, MA.
