Lambert ''Bucky'' Smerlas, born November 11, 1926. Son of the late John and Demetra (Petropoulos)Smerlas. He was raised in Cambridge. He attended Rindge Tech in Cambridge. In 1946 he entered the US Army. He owned and operated a retail/grocery store with his family for many years. He was a member of the Bethesda Lodge of Mason's,Watertown, Hellenic Square & Compass Club and the Shriner's.
He is survived by his wife Christine (Angelos)Smerlas and his children, John Smerlas and Francine Judd & her husband Ronald. He is the grandfather of Nicholas & Alanna Judd. He is also survived by his sibilings, Charles Smerlas & his wife Tasia and Antonia Lakis & her late husband Manny.
